Codicote Tennis Club was founded in 1967.

We have 3 porous macadam tennis courts and at present we have more adults and juniors playing competitive and social tennis in Codicote than at any point in the clubs history.

Codicote Tennis Club is the smallest tennis club in Hertfordshire to have achieved National Clubmark status which ensures Codicote School, Parish council, LTA and the Codicote residents that juniors are at the forefront of everything we do.

With over 170 active members, we are considered one of the largest and most successful village clubs in Hertfordshire. We currently have over 30 teams (mixture of men, women and juniors) representing Codicote in Hertfordshire wide competitions. We are a fully inclusive club and offer tennis for all irrelevant of age, ability and financial circumstances.

In the past couple of years we have given several free memberships to juniors, run coaching and assemblies at Codicote school, sponsored 20 free junior places on a 10 week tennis course, given out free racquets and balls and run a free tennis session to Codicote school children each half term holiday.

In 2010 we also introduced 4 new junior teams at u8, u9, u10 and u16 level.

Free 'Rusty racket' sessions are available to adults new to tennis or coming back to tennis and we staff the bar at the Sports & Social Club two days a week.

There are social club opportunities twice a week balancing out the need for social tennis, competitive tennis, coaching and the ability to book a court independently through our website and IPhone/Android App.
